Justin Ottman was born and raised in New York. He went to North Rockland High School. During his Senior year playing baseball, he was awarded Pitcher of the Year and was ranked one of the top 5 pitchers in New York State. He compiled an 8-1 record with an era of .88. Those numbers ranked him as one of the top Left Handed pitchers in New York High Schools. His biggest honor was when he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2000, but opted to play at Oklahoma State. Justin went on to play several years in professional baseball for teams such as Seattle (MLB), Rockland (Can-Am), and San Diego (GBL). Since retiring from professional baseball, he has persued his goal of opening an indoor facility in New York. Justin is recognized as one of the top pitching coaches in Rockland County, NY. He teaches kids from Little League to College.
Justin decided to start Maximum Velocity Pitching after years of trying to find the right program for pitchers that will have immediate results. He believes that the program he is introducing will have the biggest edge on any program out there.
